Welcome to COS422

Each year I look forward to the opportunity to teach "Theological Heritage IV:  The Wesleyan Movement" class (COS422). Whether it's offered as an in-person, hybrid, or fully online class through Emory University in Atlanta, GA, or as a fully online class through the United Methodist Church's General Board of Higher Education Ministry (GBHEM), each class is an opportunity to share, learn, and explore the unique history, theology, polity and practice of the Wesleyan/Methodist tradition of Christianity.

On this blog you'll find information and resources that will help you in your work in and for our class together, and I'll also be using this blog to update you on any assignments due and answer questions that might come up in that we don't have time to answer in class.

Regardless of the format in which you are participating, please be sure to download, print, and bring a copy of the resource packet to class with you (find the link at the top of this blog). At the top you'll also find the PowerPoint slides I use in each session lecture, and in the links to the right you'll find other resources and information that you might find helpful, as well. Feel free to download and use any of these in your church and/or ministry setting.

I look forward to working with each of you in class. God bless you!
